Jasmine Murillo has been a financial advisor with SchoolsFirst Retirement Planning since 2007, and she is proud to help Members build their financial futures. She has obtained the SIE and 6 & 63 certifications with LPL Financial to ensure her clients are in good hands.
Jasmine can easily relate to single mothers on limited incomes and gives them specific guidance about saving for the future. When she meets with Members, she wants them to be confident about their decisions and walk away with a solid financial plan. Her investment philosophy is to save early and often. She says the biggest mistake many make is not starting a discussion about retirement until they are ready to retire, instead of taking steps earlier in their career to build a retirement strategy.
Jasmine likes to remind clients of SchoolsFirst FCU's strength, which include being Member-owned and that profits are returned to them in the form of lower rates on loans, higher rates on savings and free financial guidance.
In her spare time, Jasmine loves to build memories with her family by traveling and attending sporting events together. She hopes to visit 50 countries by the time she turns 50.
