WIRE TRANSFER
Wire transfer is a method of electronically transferring funds from one person or institution to another. Wiring money can be a great way to help a friend or relative meet emergency expenses. Wire transfers are also used for business transactions, making a down payment on a home, or paying off debt.
How to request a wire transfer:
- In person at any SchoolsFirst FCU branch.
- By phone by calling (800) 462-8328, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m., or Saturday, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. (some limitations and restrictions apply).
Wire transfers can be fast and easy, if you have all of the necessary information ready:
Outgoing Domestic (U.S.) Wires — Fee: $20 each
General information:
- Date to transfer funds.
- Amount to transfer.
Your information:
- Account number and Share ID number of the account to withdraw funds from.
- Daytime phone number.
Receiving financial institution info:
- Name.
- Address.
- Phone number.
- Routing or transit number.
Beneficiary (person/company receiving funds) info:
- Name.
- Address.
- Account number.
- Any special instructions.
Incoming Wires — Fee: $0
Please provide the outside financial institution the following information when wiring funds into your SchoolsFirst FCU account:
