What is Bill Pay?

Our Bill Pay service allows you to make payments directly from your checking account via Online or Mobile Banking.1 You set up the payment, and we’ll take care of the rest. It's free.


 
How Does Bill Pay Work?

With Bill Pay, you can schedule and manage your payments to various companies or individuals.2 We withdraw the funds from your account on the date you select.


 
How Bill Pay Keeps Your Information Safe

When you make payments directly with companies or individuals, you often have to provide your full account number. This puts your information at risk for fraud and identity theft.

With Bill Pay, we keep your account information protected. We send your payments without using your 12-digit checking account number.


 
Payment Details

Depending on the payee, we'll send your payment electronically or as a paper check in the mail. If the payee can't accept electronic payments, we'll mail a check to them. Electronic payments are delivered in approximately three business days and paper checks are delivered in approximately five business days.

Note: Our Bill Pay system displays an estimated delivery date for all scheduled payments, which is guaranteed.

Schedule Frequency

You can schedule your payment as a one-time payment or a recurring payment. You can even schedule payments up to one year in advance. You have the flexibility to change the payment up until the payment is debited from your checking account.

Payment Guarantee

We guarantee payments will be made on time so you don't have to worry about missing a payment.

Stop Payments

If a bill payment is sent electronically, it can't be stopped once processed. However, if the payment is sent as a check and the check hasn't cleared yet, you can request a stop payment at no cost.


 
How to Register for Bill Pay

Log in to Online or Mobile Banking and follow these steps:

Online Banking

  • Click Bill Pay & Transfer.
  • Select the Bill Pay tab.
  • Click Enroll Now.
  • Verify or enter your email address.
  • Read and agree to the Terms and Conditions.

Mobile Banking

  • Tap Transfer.
  • Select Bill Pay.
  • Tap Enroll Now.
  • Verify or enter your email address.
  • Tap the toggle button to agree to the Terms and Conditions.
