FAMILY MEMBERSHIP IS OUR BEST KEPT SECRET
— BUT IT SHOULDN'T BE

A SchoolFirst FCU Member family image.

Of all the things you've shared with your family, has your SchoolsFirst FCU Membership been one of them?

We're exclusive. You have to be a school employee (or related to one) to join. And we wouldn't want it any other way.

Because it means when someone in your family tells you they're buying a car, trying to save money, or need to pay off debt, you can tell them to come to us. We've been helping our Members and their families save for and fund life's biggest moments for nearly 90 years. Everyone in your family should know they can join the Credit Union you love.

Angela brought her father, Felix, to the Credit Union when he wanted to buy a car.

Anna started teaching her son Elliot about money at a very young age. With help from the Credit Union, he was able to save for a dream trip to Japan.

When Lindsey got into some credit card debt, she went to her mom, Sherry, for help. And they came to us.

Whatever your family needs, we can be there for them the way we've been for you.

WHO IN YOUR FAMILY IS ELIGIBLE TO JOIN?

Once you joined, everyone in your immediate family became eligible for their own Membership too:

All couples

Unmarried couples who live together, not just spouses.

Parents and children

Your parents and children can join too. That’s all children — related by blood, marriage or adoption, no matter their age.

Grandparents and grandkids

Whether you live under the same roof or not.

What about aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews?

They’re not eligible directly through you, but would be through their parents or siblings once they become Members.

Because of your loyal Membership, we're the largest credit union in California, and the largest in the nation exclusively for the educational community. Together, our Members saved:

  • $105.6 million from higher dividends on their savings.1
  • $151.8 million from lower interest rates on loans.1
  • $19.8 million from fewer or lower fees.1

Your family probably already banks at a bank. And that's okay. You can tell them that in 2022, we helped SchoolsFirst FCU Members save a total of $470 when they actively used our products and services.1

As a Member of SchoolsFirst FCU, they'll get:

Better Rates

Whether it’s an auto loan or credit card, our rates are consistently better than banks.
