Appreciation Luncheon Scratch-Off Ticket Sweepstakes
Official Rules
- NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS SWEEPSTAKES.
- PURCHASE DOES NOT IMPROVE AN INDIVIDUAL'S CHANCES OF WINNING.
- Each sweepstakes entry will have an equal chance of winning. Odds of winning will depend on the number of entries received.
- Prize: Prizes awarded will vary in nature and value. Each prize will have an approximate retail value ranging from $20.00 to $100.00. The specific prize and corresponding retail value will be disclosed at the Appreciation Luncheon. Prizes are non-transferable. No substitution allowed.

- Sweepstakes Period: Sweepstakes runs through the time of the Appreciation Luncheon. All qualifying entries must be completed and redeemed by the end of the event.
- Eligibility: The sweepstakes is open to attendees of the Appreciation Luncheon. By entering this sweepstakes, entrants accept and agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Credit Union. Sweepstakes void where prohibited by law. Members of SchoolsFirst FCU's Official Family (teammembers, officials and volunteers) and members of their immediate families are not eligible to participate in the sweepstakes. Scratch-off tickets that are damaged, altered, not scratched/revealed on-site or not redeemed by the end of the event will not be accepted or eligible for prize redemption, no exceptions. Anyone not complying with the official rules will be disqualified and is not eligible to win a prize.
- How to Enter: Participants may enter the sweepstakes by obtaining a scratch-off ticket distributed at the event. Each attendee is eligible to receive one (1) scratch-off ticket, while supplies last. Tickets must be scratched on-site to reveal a potential prize. Only tickets distributed by authorized event staff are valid for entry.
- Drawing and Member Notification: All scratch-off tickets must be scratched/revealed and redeemed on-site before the conclusion of the event. Prizes are determined by the outcome displayed on each scratch-off ticket. Winners must be physically present at the event to win and claim their prize. Each winner must sign a Prize Acceptance Form to receive the prize. If a winner is not present at the time of prize redemption or fails to complete and sign the required Prize Acceptance Form, the prize will be forfeited.
- Publicity: By entering the sweepstakes, signing a Prize Acceptance Form and accepting the prize, winner grants SchoolsFirst FCU the right to use the winner's name, photograph or likeness in any and all forms of media for use by SchoolsFirst FCU for any reason, and waives any right to inspect or review any materials or receive compensation.
- Liability: Entrant agrees to hold the Credit Union and its officers, directors, employees and representatives harmless from any liability arising from the participation in the sweepstakes or the acceptance, receipt, possession or use/misuse of the prize.
- Privacy: Your participation in this sweepstakes constitutes your consent for SchoolsFirst FCU to use your personal information for the purpose of administering the sweepstakes and awarding the prizes. - Taxes: The Credit Union will report all prize winnings to the appropriate state and federal agencies as required by law. Winner is responsible for all tax consequences (if any) of the prize.
- Arbitration: Except where prohibited by law, as a condition of participating in this sweepstakes, entrant agrees that any and all disputes and causes of action arising out of or connected with this sweepstakes, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by final and binding arbitration under the JAMS Consumer Arbitration rules and held either remotely or at the JAMS office nearest to your county of residence. Judgment upon such arbitration award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction. Under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental or consequential damages, or any other damages, including attorney's fees, other than entrant's actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e., costs associated with entering sweepstakes), and entrant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
- Choice of Law: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrant and the Credit Union in connection with the sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the substantive laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to choice of law rule.
