The security of your account and personal information is our top priority. We actively monitor account and card activity to protect you from potential fraud. As an added layer of security, you're automatically enrolled to receive fraud alerts for your credit card.1,2,3

We'll send you a text or email alert to confirm a transaction if we notice unusual activity on your credit card. You'll have 24 hours to respond to the fraud alert.

We'll never ask for your credit card security code or account login information.

Fraud Text Alerts

Fraud text alerts will be sent from the number: 35619.

You'll receive one of two alerts to confirm if a transaction is valid or not:

Tip: Save the fraud text alert phone number as “SchoolsFirst FCU Credit Fraud Alerts” in your contacts. Please note: calling this number won’t connect you to a SchoolsFirst FCU representative. 

Need to update your phone number for text alerts?
Only the primary Member can update the phone number associated with a credit card or a joint owner’s card.

If you accidentally opt out of SMS fraud alerts and want to sign up again, please give us a call at (800) 462-8328.

Fraud Email Alerts

If we detect suspicious activity on your credit card, you’ll receive an email from noreply@schoolsfirstfcu.org with transaction details.4 You’ll need to call our support team at (800) 462-8328 to remove the block if the transaction is valid.

Members who have provided their mobile phone number will automatically be opted in to receive fraud alert text messages from SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union. This is a messaging program where the fraud alert messages are sent at no cost to you, known as Free to End User (FTEU). Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You can unsubscribe at any time by texting STOP to 35619. For additional text program information, text HELP to 35619.

Your opt-in data and consent will not be shared or sold to any third parties. This includes affiliate or business partners. Opt-in is not transferable to any other party. If you believe that your contact information was collected without consent and would like to report spam, please call us at (800) 462-8328.

  1. SchoolsFirst FCU credit cardholders must have a mobile phone number on file to receive fraud text alerts. Members will not be charged to receive fraud text alerts; this is a service provided to Members at no cost.
  2. You may opt out or unsubscribe from receiving SMS fraud alerts at any time.
  3. You will not be able to opt out or unsubscribe from email alerts, as they are standard for every account with a credit card and email address on file.
  4. SchoolsFirst FCU credit cardholders must have a valid email on file to receive credit card fraud email alerts.
