Making Smart Money Moves With Exclusive Products and Advice

Growing up, Afif had friends who were already Members of SchoolsFirst FCU and told him to join. But he wasn’t eligible since no one in his family worked in education. After spending some time in the corporate IT world, Afif realized he wanted a more meaningful career and decided to move into the education sector. Once he made the switch, he immediately became a Member.

Shortly after joining the Credit Union, he visited a branch to roll over his 401(k) from his private-sector job into a 403(b), a retirement plan specifically designed for school employees. This allows Afif to continue saving for retirement with tax advantages that fit his current role. He feels confident knowing our team is there to provide honest advice, helping him work toward lasting financial well-being.

As a school employee, Afif is a big fan of the Summer Saver.1 “The Summer Saver is a no-brainer. It earns more dividends than a regular savings account, and it’s the perfect way to save for summer activities with my family,” he says.

Providing great service comes with a few gold stars.
