Growing branch network reflects a deepened commitment to Member Service
June 5, 2026
SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union is expanding its statewide presence with seven new branches, bringing accessible, personalized financial services closer to the school employees and families it serves. The locations span the greater Los Angeles area, the Sacramento region, Ventura County and San Diego County, reflecting the geographic diversity of the school employee community SchoolsFirst FCU serves.
New branches have opened in Burbank, Elk Grove, Ventura, Northridge and the Mid-City area of Los Angeles. Additional branches are scheduled to open in Monrovia and Chula Vista later this year. The expansion reflects a broader strategy to add locations where Members live and work, making it easier to access in-person support.
“Our focus is simple: serve school employees and their families well,” said Jose Lara, president of Schools First Federal Credit Union. “Our branches give Members a place to get guidance from people who understand the financial realities school employees face, right in their own communities.”
The new branches extend a network built on the Credit Union’s commitment to World-Class Personal Service, increasing access to trusted financial advice, products and services. With these additions, SchoolsFirst FCU now operates 73 branches across California, with more on the way.
As more school employees and their families look for trusted financial guidance, the Credit Union continues to invest in access and convenience. Along with its growing branch network, SchoolsFirst FCU offers digital options that make it easy for Members to connect in the way that works best for them.
