SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union has opened the doors to its newest branch in Elk Grove, bringing its school-focused financial services directly into one of California's largest education communities. The Credit Union marked the occasion May 29 with a ribbon-ceremony joined by credit union leadership, local elected officials and community members, followed by a daylong open house.
Elk Grove is home to Elk Grove Unified School District, the fourth-largest school district in California, employing more than 7,200 people, including teachers, counselors, support workers and other staff. The new branch provides a dedicated hub where Members can access personalized resources for their financial journeys.
"The Members we serve aren't just account holders. They're the teachers, counselors, bus drivers and cafeteria staff who keep Elk Grove's schools running daily," said Anthony Couturie, vice president of branches for SchoolsFirst FCU's Northern California region. "Having a branch in their community means we can support their financial well-being and provide them with the kind of service we've built our reputation on for more than 90 years."
