SchoolsFirst FCU and Sacramento Republic FC Surprise and Honor 10 School Employees From Twin Rivers Unified School District in Sacramento

SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union, the largest credit union in California and the largest serving school employees and their families, recognized 10 employees in the Twin Rivers Unified School District in Sacramento County as Classified Employees of the Year during a surprise ceremony. These employees represent various categories of non-certified, non-management employees who have gone above and beyond in their roles serving the district.

“It’s a privilege to recognize classified school employees for their dedication and leadership in their schools and communities,” said Josh Smith, vice president, school and community relations for SchoolsFirst FCU. “Classified employees are vital to ensuring daily education operations run smoothly and are often unsung heroes behind the scenes providing administrative, technical and operational support for the students and teachers.”

 In partnership with Sacramento Republic Football Club, SchoolsFirst FCU presented congratulatory gifts to the following individuals:

  • Efrain Alanis, academic and career advisor, Twin Rivers Adult School
  • Alfredo Amaro, head custodian I, Madison Elementary
  • Silvia Amaya, paraeducator II bilingual, Fairbanks
  • Keren Beukema, library media technician, Martin Luther King Jr. Technology Academy
  • Aida Cardenas, café specialist, Vista Nueva Career & Technology High School
  • Kathleen Daley, paraeducator III, Hillsdale
  • Jennifer Davis, administrative clerk senior, Rio Linda High School
  • Ruby Gonzalez, attendance clerk, Rio Tierra
  • Louise Romo, buyer, Nutrition Services
  • Tawny Kerley, administrative assistant II, Police Services
