Dr. Smith joined the SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union Board or Directors in January 2020 as part of the merger with Schools Financial Credit Union. Prior to that, she served on the Schools Financial Board of Directors since August 2008. She holds a Certified Credit Union Board Member (CCUB) designation from Credit Union National Association (CUNA), a trade association for state and federally chartered credit unions. Dr. Smith holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, a graduate degree and a Doctorate of Education degree in higher education management. She served the educational community as College President and Vice Chancellor.
