Those who meet the eligibility requirements may join SchoolsFirst FCU. Under the USA Patriot Act, all financial institutions are required to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. Therefore, when you open a new account at SchoolsFirst FCU, we will ask you for your name, address, date of birth, and other identifying information. We may also ask to see your driver's license or other form of identification.

We've made it convenient for you to establish a Membership. Visit any SchoolsFirst FCU branch and a Member Service Representative will be happy to assist you. All you need to do is bring:

1. Your driver's license (or other official picture identification).
2. Proof of eligibility such as a payroll stub, etc.
3. Cash or a check for at least $20 payable to SchoolsFirst FCU, or $120 if you are opening both a Share Savings and a Checking account. This includes a $15 one-time non-refundable family Membership fee (your spouse and minor children living within the same household are not required to pay an additional Membership fee to join). The $5 will be deposited into your Share Savings account and $100 into the Checking account of your choice.

If you don't have the time to visit a branch, you may download an application and mail it in, or you may call one of our Telephone Service Center representatives at 714/258-4000 or 800/462-8328, Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Our knowledgeable representatives will mail everything you need to establish a Membership at SchoolsFirst FCU.
